Derek Smail - FlightPathTV® UK Director
Derek Smail has more than 35 years’ practical experience in media, principally newspapers, having been involved in the launch and development of weekly, regional and national newspapers in various countries.
Born and based in the UK of New Zealand parents, Derek also maintains strong commercial links to Southern Africa and New Zealand, and among his many interests is now a member of the World Class New Zealand Network.
An inveterate networker, Derek is assisting FlightPathTV® to become involved with a variety of television platforms and related online activities. The aim is to ensure its informative and entertaining aviation programmes reach a global audience of not only aviation enthusiasts and specialists, but also general interest consumers.
