The Documentary Channel on SKY commits to broadcast in Prime Time
28/11/07 11:01
The Documentary Channel is a 24-hour broadcaster of
high-quality documentary programming available to
over 700,000 subscribers on Sky New Zealand’s
digital platform.
FlightPathTV™
will be scheduled in a weekly primetime slot, most
likely to be set at 8 or 8.30pm. As a primetime
show the series will receive priority status within
the channel’s promo schedule. Cross-channel
promotional opportunities will also be pursued
across Sky sports and documentary channels.
In addition to the first primetime play the series will receive multiple plays on the channel in early and late-fringe timeslots. Both generic and episode- specific promos would be produced to maximize this opportunity
The Documentary Channel welcomes the programming initiative from Leading Edge Media and believe this to be a show that will prove to be a popular series for the Channel, as well as for other channels worldwide that commit to adding the show to their schedules.
